“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”, the saying goes. At CTF Education Group (CTFEG), there is nothing more meaningful than training today’s educators to teach a new generation of involved community members.
Sharing the same vision of education, CTFEG contributed HK$700,000 to ‘’Teach For China'' (TFC) in January 2020, to support 10 teaching fellows in TFC’s two-year fellowship program. TFC is an education-centered NGO working to eliminate education inequality in China.
TFC recruits outstanding graduates from China and overseas and trains them to serve as teachers in under-served Chinese schools. Teaching fellows work for two years in rural Chinese classrooms to boost student achievement by delivering excellent instruction and community leadership.
CTFEG values the opportunity to work with like-minded partners to contribute to under-served communities.
