CTF Education Group launched the “One Mask • One Heart” initiative with the aim to spread love and positivity in the community. CTFEG hopes the initiative will further instill the core value of kindness and giving in our next generation.
In light of the current coronavirus outbreak and continued shortage of medical supplies, CTFEG donated HK$100,000 to purchase 22,200 pieces of children's masks and hand sanitisers for children with disabilities and under-privileged families. Visits have been made to distribute children’s masks and hand sanitisers to 21 Special-Educational-Needs and under-resourced schools including Caritas Lok Jun School, Ebenezer New Hope School and Yan Chai Hospital Law's Foundation Child Care Centre cum Hostel.
Under the “One Mask • One Heart” initiative, staff and parents from CTFEG and VEO as well as their friends were welcome to voluntarily donate new masks and hand sanitisers. Collection boxes had been placed in all VEO kindergarten campuses and CTFEG offices earlier.
The impact of donating one mask or one hand sanitiser might seem small, but we truly believe every little help counts and will be appreciated by many. Parents and children were also encouraged to take part together in this meaningful initiative by colouring the heart graphic and filling in caring messages. All donated items have been passed to The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (“BGCA”) to help underprivileged children and families in need after quality check.
“We are grateful to have received very positive feedback from our staff, parents, partners and general public. Over 7,800 masks and sanitising products were collected over two weeks. Donations were collected during school suspension period and we are extremely thankful donors made the special effort to drop off their donations at our school campuses. The donations keep coming in even after the collection period”.

Quality check of the face masks, hand sanitisers and sanitising wipes were carried out by staff representatives from both BGCA and CTFEG. The repackaged “Masks and Sanitising Kits” have been distributing to underprivileged children and families by BGCA from 6 March 2020 to 20 March 2020.

Other than donation, parents and children were encouraged to take part together in this meaningful initiative by colouring the heart graphic and filling in caring messages.
BGCA and CTFEG staff performed quality check on collected items and repackaged them into “Masks and Sanitising Kits” for underprivileged children and families.
